We've been very pleased with the reception that Crossed Keys is getting.
Interesting to see it being read by both Catholics and diabolists, just as these books would have been originally.

The blocking is with a deliberately antiqued gold finish as this bookcloth doesn't take blocking as well as some cloths do and we chose the trade off to 'age' the book.

We don't put in extra pages for notes as books are printed in sections and the cost of the extra paper would put the price up. We want our books to be of the best quality but remain as affordable as possible.

When we are designing these books we are designing them to be worked with, hence that tantalising circle left for the spirit signature, glad that you appreciate the intent which we put into our Work.

The rouge editions are designed to be underlined and footnoted without feeling like you are defiling your good copy!

Looking forward to seeing the fine editions soon, our binder has been away but the full black dragon skin leather promises to be spectacular...

Again, our public congratulations to Michael for a job well done.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11332929566153000613noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25882546.post-53414491911817131992011-08-01T04:33:07.722-04:002011-08-01T04:33:07.722-04:00@PR It was half the price, thank you very much. :)...@PR It was half the price, thank you very much. :) And I made up for it by buying another rouge at the same time.

(Also I commute via London Underground. Might as well ruin the more affordable, lighter versions.)Gordonhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16189203446024144578noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25882546.post-85355844165928979882011-08-01T00:07:09.932-04:002011-08-01T00:07:09.932-04:00I'm curious about how to section of the Enchir...I'm curious about how to section of the Enchiridion re. the Psalms stacks up against the corresponding section of the Sixth and Seventh Books of Moses (and/or the "Blessing Psalter" of St. Arsenios).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25882546.post-91335162835525652982011-07-31T17:59:27.046-04:002011-07-31T17:59:27.046-04:00The cover is the crossed keys and triple crown of ...The cover is the crossed keys and triple crown of Papal regalia =)Quaero Luxhttp://quaerolux.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-25882546.post-43005704485921671982011-07-31T17:58:30.066-04:002011-07-31T17:58:30.066-04:00AIT, I could in a heartbeat.
